Ruhul Amin made Petrobangla chairman

The government has appointed Md Ruhul Amin as chairman of Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation, widely known as Petrobangla.

A Public Administration Ministry issued a circular in this regard on Thursday.

An official of 1985 batch of the BCS cadre, Ruhul worked as the additional secretary at the Energy and Mineral Resources division before his new job. He was born in Gopalgonj district. 

He also worked as a director (admin) of Petrobangla few years ago.

The previous chairman of the petrobangla, Abul Mansur Md Faizullah has been made Commerce Secretary.
